These paper weavings are an accumulation of my visual thoughts, incorporating fragmented shapes, textile textures, and drawings. In contrast to my smaller weavings, each layer in this series has been hand-drawn, creating a deeper connection to the work. Also included—new to this body of work—are my written thoughts, which are then obscured when sliced into ribbons and woven back together , concealing my original written words, removing the need to use my coded language. These pieces can appear chaotic and overwhelming, reflecting the my mind.
